"The Get Started program intended to engage and develop young people through sports, or the arts, and support them in further education, training, or employment".

WHITECROSS STREET EVENT copy

We employed and trained young people within the local community to curate and run the main stage at Whitecross Street Event using local talent which was scouted through our weekly online event in collaboration with SoapBox Islington which was run through Instagram during the pandemic.

"The annual Whitecross Street Party is one of London's unique outdoor events, with a creative mix of street arts, performances, and community interaction, that takes over the area for one day. This celebrated family-friendly street party provides a platform for over 40 artists painting live for THE RISE OF THE NONCONFORMISTS outdoor exhibition. Alongside the art, the day is packed with live music, dance, family activities, and a good dash of the unexpected".
